Algarve Flair Challenge
Algarve Flair Challenge is a Flair Bartending competition organised each year in the Algarve, Portugal by ProgressBarEvents and Cocktail Academy with support of the World Flair Association.
The 1st Algarve Flair Challenge was organised back in June 2010 in Central Station Bar, Albufeira. Special guests, World Champions Tomek Malek & Marek Posluszny from the Flair Factory team made part of the Jury panel and performed a unique Flair Bartending Show in Tandem. The competition was followed by a 2 day Flair Master Class Course with the champions. The 3 day event was seen by more than 2000 people live and also covered in the media – TVI, Cidade FM, Expresso, Correio da Manhã and many others.

Algarve Flair Challenge – Observatório do Algarve
The 2nd Algarve Flair Challenge was organised in June 2011 at the Rocha da Palha Beach Bar in Armaçao de Péra. This time Marco Canova, one of the best flair bartenders in the world was the special guest and judged the competition. A special Finest Call Master Class was organised before the competition, to promote the sponsor products among the bartending community in Portugal. Algave Flair Challenge brought together the best National and International barteners and showed a high level of flair bartending in Portugal. The competition’s total prize money was 800€ and was divided among the finalists.
